Pyramid Food Drive Collection

Eckhart Public Library is excited to partner with Better Together Auburn to host and participate in a Pyramid Food Drive. This food drive is a way to give back to our community and also a friendly competition consisting of three parts: donations, pyramid-building, and voting!

DONATIONS

From January 5 through February 10, donations of non-perishable food and hygiene items can be dropped off at the following Auburn locations:

1.    Auburn Parks & Recreation - 1500 South Cedar Street

2.    Eckhart Public Library - 603 South Jackson

3.    First United Methodist Church - 1203 East 7th Street

4.    Shepherd's Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, RAM - 507 South Grandstaff

PYRAMID-BUILDING

On February 11, teams of these businesses and organizations will take their donations and build their own Egyptian-style pyramid at Eckhart Public Library.

VOTING

Voting runs from February 13 through February 18. Make sure you vote for your favorite build. Yes, this is a friendly competition...but it's still a competition.

After the voting is completed and one business or organization basks in the glory that comes with building a superior can pyramid, all of the items collected with be distributed to our community food pantries. Actually, we'll all be winners then because we really are Better Together.
