The DeKalb County Free Fall Fair has come and gone and Mayor Ley would like to express his gratitude to those that make this week long event run as smoothly as possible.
A huge thank you to the following City Departments, Auburn Police Department, Auburn Fire Department, Auburn Electric, Auburn Water, Auburn Street Department, Auburn Essential Services, and the Utility Customer Service Representatives.
Thank you to Grand Marshall, Ashlyn Heller. It was a pleasure to meet such a focused and determined young woman. We all look forward to seeing you win more gold at the next Special Olympics. Whatever you do in life, we know you will succeed.
Thank you to all of the volunteers. This event is not possible without you. There are to many to list out but please know how grateful we are for each and every one of you!
Finally a huge thank you to the DeKalb Community. Thank you for showing up for this 91 year old tradition.
