Teghtmeyer Ace Hardware will give away free American flags on Saturday, May 28 to honor the Memorial Day holiday.

Indiana lost 742 soldiers in the Korean war and 983 in the Vietnam conflict.

Consumers visiting the store at 200 N Grandstaff Dr, Auburn will receive a free 8’ by 12’ American flag. A second will be donated to the local VFW Garrett Post to be used for marking veterans’ graves on Memorial Day.

This year, Ace Hardware Corporation aims to again give away more than one million American flags nationally. Last year, it gave away more than 500,000 to Ace customers and more than 550,000 to more than 1,900 VFW Posts.

Flags will be available at Teghtmeyer Ace Hardware while quantities last. Each consumer is limited to one free flag; no purchase is necessary.

Teghtmeyer Ace Hardware is located at 200 N Grandstaff Dr, Auburn, Indiana. This location is owned by Larry Teghtmeyer, represented by Christopher Williams and managed by Mike Watson.
