Trine University issued the following announcement on Feb. 14.
Leaders from Cameron Memorial Community Hospital will discuss the importance of communicating across medical systems and how the hospital has addressed this challenge in a Feb. 21 program hosted by Trine University’s Humanities Institute.
“Out of the Bubble: Communicating Across Fields in Medical Systems,” will be from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in Best Hall 229 on the Trine campus.
The event is free and open to the public.
The panel will be made up of Andy Aldred, PharmD, vice president and chief operating officer; Scott Hirschy, RN, BS, chief information officer; Jon Crabill, PharmD, director, inpatient pharmacy; Dr. Todd Rumsey, MD, chief medical officer; and Christina Krueckeberg, RN, CHC, CPHRM, compliance and privacy officer. Each also will share their own experiences with systems communication.
Trine University students who attend the event will receive CHAT credit.
