73 percent of applicants to Trine University were admitted for fall 2018

At Trine University, 99 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 55 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Angola enrolled 4,320 students in fall 2018, including 4,190 in undergraduate and 130 in graduate programs, data shows. 1.5 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

59 percent of undergraduates are residents of Indiana, and 40 percent are residents of other states. 2 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (72 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (8 percent).

The school admitted 73 percent of the 3,993 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 22 percent enrolled.
