67.4% of Lagrange County residents old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 40,085 citizens living in Lagrange County in 2021, 67.4% were old enough to vote, equating to 27,003 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 13,569 were male, constituting 50.2%, and 13,434 were female, making up 49.8%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Lagrange County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 76.4%.
